The Art of Cooking

1 - The Art of Cooking

"Cooking is an Art"

When we hear the word "ART" we always associate it paintings, drawings and sculptures. Well, Art actually is the product of a diverse range of human activities or the activities themselves. There are a lot of different forms of art, one of which is Cooking.

Like other forms of art, Cooking needs patience, creativity, imagination, skill, passion and most especially heart. Otherwise, it would be pointless. I mean, nowadays, with all the fast-food joints, you could order food with one click of a button. So, why cook? Well, have you ever wondered if this kind of food would go well with that kind of sauce or which spices go with which? Basically, it starts with curiosity. After a while, you start to get the hang of it. You take an interest in it. You start to follow recipes or even make one of your own.  This is the part where you experiment on flavors and stuff. Then, this passion for cooking eventually builds up inside of you and you just want to express yourself by cooking, through food. Like other artists in other forms of art, each of us have our own unique style of cooking. Sure, it might take time, it might take a lot practice, but hey, if you love what you're doing, then you shouldn't stop doing it. That's why in cooking, you need to have passion and the heart for it. Like other forms of art as well, Cooking is a never ending learning experience. There are always new ways to cook food. That's one of the reasons why cooking is awesome other than you get to eat after. You can always learn and discover new things in the Art of Cooking.

Cooking is an Art because it needs basic skills, creativity, passion and heart. You have to put your heart in everything you do. If you love what you are doing, then you will be happy with it no matter what. If you think you can't cook, like other art forms, you just need to keep practicing. Eventually, you'll get better at it.
